Fall 2017 Capstone Colloquium Series - "Globalization: United States in the World Economy"

The Rutgers Division of Global Affairs is pleased to invite you to our weekly Capstone Colloquium Series.
Join us this Wednesday, 25th October, when Dr. Yale Ferguson will talk to us about "Globalization: United States in the World Economy". 

Yale H. Ferguson, is Professorial Fellow in the Rutgers University-Newark Division of Global Affairs and Emeritus Distinguished Professor of Global and International Affairs. Prof. Ferguson was one of the DGA’s founders and served as Co-Director from 2002-2008. He received the Rutgers University Board of Trustees Award for Excellence in Research. He also is Honorary Professor at the University of Salzburg (Austria). Prof. Ferguson’s publications include 12 books and over 60 book chapters and articles. Among his latest books with Richard W. Mansbach (Iowa State) are Globalization: The Return of Borders to a Borderless World?; A World of Polities: Essays in Global Politics; and Remapping Global Politics: History’s Revenge and Future Shock. He and Mansbach have a new book in progress, War and Political Evolution in the Ancient Mediterranean. In 2017 they jointly received a Distinguished Professor Award from the International Studies Association, History and International Relations Section. Several years ago the ISA-Northeast established an annual IR Book Prize in Prof. Ferguson’s name. Prof. Ferguson is an elected member of Academia Europaea (the Academy of Europe) and has been a Visiting Fellow at the University of Cambridge (UK-three times), the Norwegian Nobel Institute, and the University of Padova (Italy), as well as Fulbright Professor at Salzburg. He is a Life Member of the graduate college Clare Hall at the University of Cambridge.
